Great discussion!

For me, it wasn’t so much about the second step at first. I needed to fully accept the first step into my life and believe with my whole heart, body and soul that I was an alcoholic. “We had to admit to our inner most selves that we were alcoholic.”
After I admitted and accepted the first step, I was able to gather enough willingness to believe that something greater than my self could and would take care of me if I asked for help. I literally had no other option. Once I simply asked God for help, I was helped. And I felt like I was under his protection and care.
