Megan Fox “Can’t Stand” Booze and Pills

The actress says Christianity has kept her from going the way of Monroe and Lohan.

Megan Fox says her devotion to Christianity and the Bible have helped her avoid the substance abuse issues that plague manymegan Hollywood stars. “I can’t stand pills. I don’t like drinking. I don’t like feeling out of control,” says the actress. “You have to understand, [in church] I feel safe. I was raised to believe that you’re safe in God’s hands. But I don’t feel safe with myself.” The 26-year-old new mom is in the early stages of removing her tattoo of Marilyn Monroe, claiming she doesn’t want to emulate the starlet’s lifestyle and tragic downfall. “I started reading about [Monroe] and realized that her life was incredibly difficult,” says Fox, who compares the iconic actress toLindsay Lohan. “[Monroe] wasn’t powerful at the time. She was sort of like Lindsay [Lohan],” she says. “She was an actress who wasn’t reliable, who almost wasn’t insurable…She had all the potential in the world, and it was squandered. I’m not interested in following in those footsteps.” However, despite her aversion to mind-altering substances, Fox is not opposed to speaking in tongues. “Your whole body is filled with this electric current,” she explains. “And you just start speaking, but you’re not thinking because you have no idea what you’re saying. Words are coming out of your mouth, and you can’t control it.” Article Link…
