Cops pulled over what they thought was a drunk driver to discover a sober 10-year-old behind the wheel.

kidHaving a designated driver is good practice for a night out drinking (usually). Having your designated driver be your10-year-old grandson is not. This common sense was lost on drunk 54-year-old Louisiana grandma Brenda Byrd and her equally judgement- and alcohol-impaired buddy Sheila Joiner, 48, who both agreed it was best to have a small child drive them home in their SUV. Around 1 am Wednesday, witnesses spotted the vehicle driving slowly down a major highway and swerving in and out of lanes—they mistakenly reported a drunk driver. Cops pulled the vehicle over to find an elementary-schooler behind the wheel, two old ladies explaining he was chauffeuring because they were drunk, and the juvie driver’s 15-year-old brother, who had inexplicably allowed his younger sibling to operate the 6,000-pound SUV. Both women were arrested and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile and allowing an unlicensed driver to operate a motor vehicle. Article Link “the fix”...
