Staying connected to those also in recovery is vital. Whether near or far, the more contact, the more conversations, even about daily life, the door opens a little more each time to a new thought process. Today, I called my sponsor with a problem….I’m still harboring resentment and although I see my part, keeping it to myself will do more harm than good. This is the first time in 6 weeks I actually reached out with a real concern that is hurtful enough to break me. Talk….with the right people, and the inner strength you will feel is amazing. Strength in numbers.
